the diverse collaborative work of Austin Le Moine & Troy Chebs, two midwestern friends on a mission to explore their constantly evolving passions and plant seeds of eccentricity and imagination across america. Their practice is inherently diverse and takes on a growing number of forms: DIY construction, film, live vinyl happenings, small space design, agriculture, bike trips, scavenger hunts, skateboarding, mixtapes, collage and animation. At the moment, they are working and exploring out of their converted transit bus.

BEN LAMAR GAY CHICAGO BRIDGE LIFT // TENDER HOUSE PROJECT // INTERNATIONAL ANTHEM

On 9 October 2019 US cornetist Ben LaMar Gay performed a duet with the DuSable Bridge. The 100 year old bascule bridge is where Michigan Avenue crosses the Chicago River in downtown Chicago. Here you can see Gay in the gear room improvising with flutes and melodica as the bridge is being raised to allow tall ships to pass through.

The performance was part of the Tender House project exhibition at the McCormick Bridgehouse museum, in collaboration with International Anthem and Public Media Institute.
